When you’re making a social media AD, first of all, you are not making an ad for everybody.

But the key thing is this, why are you not getting any returns from your social media ad, it is your creative/content.

Yeah. Your creative is easily swipeable by what happens is the best creative for any social media ad let me tell you right now, the best creative to actually use for any social media ad is video. It retents someone's attention longer and the first thing that I would even tell you to use in your social media ad.

Here is an example of an Ad I ran. The first thing that I said on that social media ad was the, was the gender that I was addressing. I was addressing ladies in that particular social media. What’s the first thing I said. I said, ladies.

The first thing I said in another social media ad was, business people because I was talking specifically to one audience. This is not TV. This is not a billboard out there. No, this is specifically social media that you consume, alone, that’s why let me even tell you the reason why social media has a lot of hate and backlash from people because people are empowered to give you their feedback because you are coming into their own personal space.

You consume social media by yourself, but TV and other things you consume, it’s like a broad mass thing. So necessarily people don’t feel that intent of even offering hate, but social media people feel that entitlement of offering their opinion because you have come within their own small realm. You’ve come within their own room.

The moment you come within someone’s space, they feel entitled to give you their opinion. So what you need to do is realize that indeed, when making a social media ad you’re going into someone’s personal space. So, address them specifically address their specific issues.

If, for example, you’re in Nakuru or even example you in The Hague, you can address just say, people of Nakuru. If you are moving business premises, state, the state of the state, the country that they are in or even the county, the city, whatever it is, state that first and people will stop and want to hear you out.

That will give you maximum returns and make that creative, that particular creative that you want to boost that particular ad you want to make, make that specific to that specific audience.

Remember not every product is for everyone. Not everybody wants to buy a newspaper. If I was running a newspaper, I know who to target. I know the kind of people who stay in the office all day or the, one of the people who love the news, you strategize and make it specific to them and talk about the issues that are important to them.

That is how you get a better return on your social media ad.

Now, when it comes to social media ads. You can actually measure the metrics very easily, because you can actually see them on the, on the ads um, when you’re running the ad, you can see how many people engaged the click-through rate, watch through rate.

You can see all of those things. That’s why I say social media ads are even more efficient and better than TV ads. How can you know a TV ad actually did a good job. If you run a TV ad or if rent a billboard, how do you know that that billboard is actually the one that brought people to come into your business?

How do you know? You don’t. But Facebook ads, Instagram ads, you have to be very specific now, one thing I also want to include, when it comes to you and social media ads, be aware of the platform that you are boosting on, is your audience on that platform?

For example, Facebook ads for younger audiences might Not really work, unless you’re in the rural parts of the nation. There are still some young guys on Facebook.

But if you got to know that a lot of times, various social media platforms have various age differences, but don’t let this stop you from thinking that Tik Tok does not have your audience.

But as you make social media ads always remember that the creative, the creative is the king. Cause you have to remember what the audience sees is what leads them to act.
