HOW KENYAN YOUTUBERS USE COLLABORATIONS HELP THEIR CHANNEL GROWTH

Collaborations are an awesome tool to use in order to reach new audiences that don’t know who you are or about your content.

With YouTube having a boat load of content being uploaded on its platform, creators need to find ways in which they can be noticed in the midst of all the clutter.

Collaborations involve two or more content creators coming together to make one piece of content. Its very important to do a collaboration in which both creators will benefit and not lose their audience.

A good example of a collaboration is one done with these two creators who shared a common problem and decided to come together to discuss their common problem.

Its important that when doing your collaboration to ensure that you reference each others channel within the video so that you can guide the audience to the other person’s channel.

This will ensure that you actually add value to the person who you are collaborating with.

Collaborations can be done with a brand or even to promote a competition that your friend is in and to encourage your audience to act.

A good example is one done here for Charlie Karumi to get more votes in a Talent search competition:

Collaborations are key in order to ensure that your channel grows and working with new people on new content is always something fun to get involved in.
